Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero on Sunday afternoon hit a landmark 200 goals with the first of his two strikes against Chelsea in the FA Community Shield as Manchester City defeated Chelsea 2-0.

The goal which came midway through the first half saw Aguero receive the ball on the edge of the box from youngster Phil Foden and needed just one touch to set it well on his left foot for a low powerful shot past Willy Caballero in goal for Chelsea.

The 30-year old who joined from Atletico Madrid in 2011 for £38 million has proven to be a reliable goal machine for the Citizens.

His title winning goal for Roberto Mancini's side in his first season (2011/2012) would go down as one of his most memorable goals in the blue and white colours.

The Argentine has never failed to score above 20 league goals in his stay in England, except for the 2012/2013 season when he hit just 17 league goals.

He has also always hit the 30+ goal mark for City in every campaign.

Aguero who has proven to be one of the very few consistently proficient strikers in the modern day football is just seven goals shy of 150 Premier League goals and seven competitive appearances from reaching 300 for City.

He becomes the first Manchester City player to hit 200 goals in the club's history.
