Italian giants, AC Milan have completed the signing of left back, Fode Ballo-Toure from French side, AS Monaco, a statement from the club announced.

The 24-year put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him with the Serie A giants until 2026, a deal rumored to be in the region of €6.5 million.

This is coming a few hours after they signed French striker, Olivier Giroud for around €1 million from Chelsea.

Ballo-Toure started six Ligue 1 matches for Monaco last season in a total of 24 appearances, as Monaco finished third on the log, narrowly losing out on the title in the closing weeks of the season.

The Paris Saint Germain youth graduate, despite having represented France at U-16 and U-21 levels, opted to represent his father's native, Senegal at the beginning of the year and has won four caps for the Terranga Lions.

Toure is seen as competition for currently left back and French international, Theo Hernandez as Stephen Pioli will look to challenge for the Serie A title next Season.

The defender becomes the third African player in the ranks of the Rosonerri, along with Algeria's Ismail Bennacer and Ivory Coast's Frankie Kessie.
