Chelsea superstar being eyed up by Juventus as possible replacement for key talisman

*Chelsea and France star N’Golo Kante is being eyed up by Italian giants Juventus as a potential replacement for Miralem Pjanic should the Bosnian leave the club this summer.

This is being reported by CalcioMercato, who note that the Blues midfielder is the club’s primary option to replace the former Roma star, and that Pjanic’s agent is edging him towards a departure from the Italian champions.

The same report also states that the Blues are after at least £71M (€80M) for the former Leicester man, a price that some would see as a bargain when you consider the abilities the player has at his disposal.

Since emerging onto the major footballing scene for Leicester during their amazing 2015/16 title-winning season, Kante has become a household name for football fans everywhere.

The player was absolutely vital for France at the World Cup this summer, with his ruthless aggression and defensive knowhow proving to be a key part of Les Bleus’ successful campaign.

The midfielder has also been a massive hit since his move to west London, with Kante managing to be a huge part in his side’s 2016/17 Premier League title win.

Losing Kante would be a massive blow for Chelsea, as there aren’t many players in world football capable of doing what he does on a consistent basis.
