German Mesut Özil's days look set to end soon at Arsenal. In an interview, Ozil made a statement that he would rather retire than play for rivals Tottenham. It sounds somehow in the ear of Jose Mourinho and Jose could not avoid commenting on a press conference according to media.

The statement from Jose Mourinho goes thus; "Who told him that Tottenham should be interested in signing him? the Portuguese asked slightly humorously at the press conference.

The rivalry between the two London clubs has pretty much always existed, and yet it is one of the rarities that players switch between the two clubs. It also looks more like Özil will continue his career at Turkish Fenerbache.

The transfer is not yet official, but it is expected to happen in the January transfer window, so Ozil will have more time to prove himself to the world.
