France Football has released 15 names of footballers who have been nominated for Ballon d'Or. Last year's winner of the Ballon d'Or, Cristiano Ronaldo, was re-nominated despite being tripped in a case of alleged rape involving a woman from the United States (US), Kathryn Mayorga.
A total of 30 footballers will be included in this prestigious nomination. But the 15 names France France have released, seven names are from the English League, six names are from the Spanish League, while Serie A and Ligue 1 each contribute one name.
Based on country of origin, Belgium and France donated three names, United Kingdom, Brazil and Uruguay contributed two names, as well as Argentina, Portugal and Spain who donated one name. But unique, the name of the Argentine footballer who is now grazing in Barcelona, Lionel Messi has not entered the first 15 nominations.

Meanwhile, the Ballon d'Or award will be held on December 3. The judges will also determine the ranking of three nominations, namely performance for one season, fair play, and achievements during the career period.
