Adidas recently as a technical sponsor of the 2018 World Cup introduced to the official public ball for the World Cup 2018 Russia. This European sports apparel gives the name Telstar 18 for the official ball of the 2018 World Cup. This is the latest edition of Telstar Adidas which was first used in 1970's World Cup in Mexico. The long history of Adidas as a World Cup technical sponsor began in 1970. At that time Adidas ventured to make the standardization of the ball, like FIFA grateful agreed and Telstar is the first ball that uses FIFA stadarisasi.


Spanish National Team coach Julen Lopetegui said goalkeepers should be familiar with the 2018 World Cup before the tournament began in June, rather than complaining about the ball following criticism by Germany goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Spain goalkeeper Pepe Reina.

I know what the players are telling me, but that's the ball that will be used and anything else just stepping on your feet and causing excitement.
What we need to do is take positive things, cheer them out, and nothing else

Germany striker Thomas Mueller scored against Spain with a long-range kick that looked to outwit De Gea's effort, while German goalkeeper Ter Stegen called Telstar a complicated ball. 

Even though the ball is not always wrong, it's true that this one is a bit complicated. You can see the goal we put in. (The ball) is moving a lot and should be better.

In contrast to Lionel Messi who gave flattery to Telstar 18. The three TOP goalkeepers from Europe De Gea, Ter Stegen and Pepe Reina just criticize the ball. Similar criticisms are spoken by De Gea (Spanish national team goalkeeper) and also Ter Stegen (German national team goalkeeper) who happens to be in one game when Germany & Spain meet in a test match and ends with a 1-1 draw last week. Both goalkeepers complained about the direction of the Telstar 18 ball movement. Sharp criticism came from Pepe Reina, he suggested FIFA should consider replacing Telstar 18 before the 2018 Dunai Cup was held.

I was lucky to know this ball first and can try it. I love everything, the new design, the color, everything.




Ter Stegen also delivered his critics. The ball can be even better, the movement, said Barcelona goalkeeper. But I think we just have to get used to working with him and try to sort it out as soon as possible before the World Cup starts, we have no other choice.

However, Pepe Reina, suggested FIFA should consider replacing Telstar 18 before the 2018 Dunai Cup was held.
