Croatia's famous sports commentator Drago Cosic, who was the World Cup reporter in Russia, was reportedly part of a network that illegally sold tickets for the World Cup. The price of tickets for the duel between France and Croatia, which were offered for sale, amounted to almost 20,000 euros, and it is claimed that four such tickets were offered on the black market. Tickets, however, were not sold.

The scandal was discovered by FIFA, which asked the European Broadcasting Union to explain how the tickets that were destined for the EBU were found on the black market. Then, the EBU, through the serial numbers, concluded that it was about the tickets that were assigned to Croatian Television. The EBU then alarmed HRT, and Drago Cosic was dismissed.

"From the EBU and FIFA, we learned that two of our employees, without knowing the house, asked for tickets to accompany HRT, they asked for a total of 40 tickets, and then they were available on request. They called for a conversation, they say share their friends and do not know what happened to the tickets. The case may end with the cancellation of them, "explains one source from HRT.

However, the story of the two suspects is unconvincing by the fact that the tickets were requested several months earlier by Croatian television.

"I'm sorry, but I can not speak anything about this case," Cosic told Croatian media.

Apart from him, the head of the international exchange department at HRT, Sasa Devic, is also suspect.
