The skilled Japanese football player still does not plan to retire, and now things have raised them to a new level.

Japanese football player Keisuke Honda today said he planned to complete his career after the World Cup in Russia but changed his mind when Australian club Melbourne Victory offered him an agreement.

Honda's 32-year-old Honda has offered a year-long deal worth $ 2.9 million.

"I was thinking of finishing my career after the World Cup, but fortunately the club sent me a great offer that changed my career," he said.

Interestingly, Honda is also the coach of the Cambodian football team. He took over the squad a week before deciding to sign for Melbourne.

He said there was no conflict of interest here and that he was primarily a Melbourne footballer.

"About four months ago, I talked to the leaders of the Cambodian Football Federation and asked if I could be their coach, and at the same time a football player, and they answered affirmatively. Melbourne Victory understands my situation and respects my activities, "the Japanese footballer said.

Honda owns a football club in Cambodia and runs several football academies. He plans through a video link regularly to consult with the professional headquarters of the national team and intends to visit Cambodia every two or three months.

Honda started its career in Nagoya, and also played for VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow, Milan and Pachuca.

For the Japan national team, where he retreated after the World Cup, he played 98 games and scored 37 goals.
