It's Madrid Derby tonight. This is the game I was waiting for. Atletico Madrid will visit Bernabeu and that could be a good moment for them as we are having the worst moment. Atletico will be in high hope as Simeone side remains undefeated in Bernabeu for the last 5 league years. A win will take any team to the top of the table at least Barcelona competes Bilbao on Sunday. This Derby will be the match that will mark the difference in this season table.
Return of Carvajal will definitely boost our defence side but Lopetegui needs to prepare to prevent ambitious Simeone's side. Marcelo will not be available which means Nacho will play as a left back. It's better to let Nacho move forward with the ball and cover the area instead of play as a striker by Ramos himself. If our defence put enough effort into the game and balance the team we will be one step ahead in the game. Bale and Asencio have a great turn of pace and they can create a good movement of attack if all team play without selfishness. Benzema is back in his worst form and I don't think he will change tonight too. I believe our midfield is in the best form and with the good vision, Kroos and Modric can create assists. Forward just need to control the ball perfectly and attack eventually. Casemiro is our diamond, he can provide perfect cross into the box when need and can defend and prevent opponents counter attacks when need. Basically, we have a good team and with the good play, we can beat Atletico. We just can't afford mistakes. One mistake can take the match out of our hand as Atletico miss chances rarely.
However, I am not confident enough that we can defeat Atletico but the game is always changing. We may not get the result as we predict but I hope we will win with the highest level of goals.
