Those old players aren't attacking minded. Modric a playmaker? He's not, he is just a good midfielder. There is no playmaker in the team. The whole team keeps passing the ball around them. Those midfielders should pass the ball ahead and move forward to receive the ball and again pass it to a striker ahead of them, and a goal scored. But to go through the process they need to have a good passing, dribbling and playmaking skills. They also need to have a good vision and pace, and a striker must be a great finisher but players aren't very good at it. Only Isco seemed to be a player who was not afraid to go 1v1/2. Maybe he can't cut inside the defenders and doesn't have good pace but he can go dribble them and pass the ball to teammates nearby, but those teammates are lukakus. They either pass the ball backwards or lose it. They can't even take the ball to the wings many times. Huesca is a team lying at the end of the table. Huesca was beaten 8-2 by Barcelona. Barcelona didn't have the best defence, and hence Huesca scored 2 goals against them but they went on to score 8 goals against Huesca, that made the match interesting.

Honestly, Madrid was lucky. Madrid was defensively good but they should really need to improve on attacking. They were unable to control the midfield in the 2nd half and that was the worst part of the game. Huesca is not a team to play so defensively. Madrid should focus more on attacking.
