The Audi Cup is a mini pre-season competition that involves just four teams; Real Madrid (Spain), Bayern Munich (Germany), Tottenham (England), and Fenerbahçe (Turkey).
The event has been held every two years since 2009 and it is timed to avoid clashing with the FIFA World Cup or the UEFA European Championships.

Harry Kane Did The Damage
Real Madrid continue their poor run in the pre-season after dull 1-0 loss to Premier League side Tottenham in the Audi Cup on Tuesday. Harry Kane’s first-half strike at the Allianz Arena for Tottenham kept Los Blancos without a win in pre-season. Eden Hazard played below expectations and Benzema was wasteful upfront.
Kane scored the only goal in the game after Marcelo’s error. Stops from Erik Lamela and Tanguy Ndombele followed in quick succession, only for Marcelo to thank his goalkeeper by inadvertently playing Kane through on goal for a cool 22nd-minute finish.
Karim Benzema wasted a great chance to equalise a few minutes later before Kane was denied by a smart stop by the Real goalkeeper Kaylor Navas.
Son came close on two occasions but Kaylor Navas was always there to pull the saves.

Thomas Müller Shines Out
In the second Semi-finals, host Bayern Munich whitewashed Fenerbahce 6-1 at the Allianz Arena with 5 goals coming in the first half.
Renato Sanches Kick-start the goal festival as he put the ball behind the net at the 22' with assist from Lewandowski. Goretzka hit the second 6 minutes later, before substitute Thomas Müller score the 3rd at the 31' to complete a ten(10) minute goal rush.
Kingsley Coman makes it 4-0 at the 40' and Thomas Müller scored from the spot at the 44 minute as the first half end 5-0 in favour of the host.
Bayern Munich continue their dominance in the second half as Müller complete a hat trick at the 58 minute with assist from N. Suele.
Max Kruse pull one back for Fenerbahce 6 minutes later which only served as a consolation goal.
6-1 was the scoreline at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich had 58% of the ball possession with three(3) shot on target and one(1) off target, won 7 corner kicks. They committed 10 fouls but didn't get into the refs book.
Fenerbahçe on the other end had 42%of the ball possession with 1 shot on target and 5 off target. The Turkey's side had 4 corner kicks, committed 9 fouls and were booked twice. They were got in an offside position once.

Tottenham will be hoping for a preseason silverware as they battle host Bayern Munich in the final as Real Madrid takes on Fenerbahce for a third place finish.
