In life they say that the is no permanent friend, so is the story between Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness and Paul Breitner as they finally made it known to the public last Sunday.

The poor form of Bayern Munich didn't only destabilize the team but also affected on the management of the club. It didn't take long when hell broke up. The club poor form was no more the biggest taking point surrounding the club but the differences that took place in the executive.

Breitner who is working as a TV presenter and a regular writer in newspaper columns, got into contract with FC Bayern Munich in March 2007 where he took the position of an advisor on various issues.

The 67 years old Breitner, heavily criticised both Hoeness, 66, and Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge for attacking the German press in a bizarre press conference over criticism of the club after series of bad results.

The club CEO Karl-Heinz and president Uli Organized a press conference in which they rebuked the media for not respecting the club players. With those words the house was divided while some supported the executives for their strong support to the players but the other group kicked against them.

Being a media personnel, Paul Breitner was not impressed with Karl-Heinz and Uli decision, for at one point the president said that the media treated the players with some level of respect but at the other point he is coming against the media.

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness on Sunday insisted there is no way he can let go the problem he is having with club legend and former friend Paul Breitner in their long-standing mutual hostility.

In his words he doesn't feel safe to continue with the relationship they both shared, thereby making the whole world to believe that Paul is not the one loosing at this point but he is the reason they have to go their difference ways.

Friendship between the duo began far back 1970s in which they were part of West Germany’s 1974 World Cup winning team and the relationship extended to the club level as both players played for Bayern.

Paul told Bavarian broadcaster that the club's president had “ruined the work that the club had labored for in the past few years to escape it’s proud image”.

As a result, Breitner who made 343 appearances for Bayern and winning 5 Bundesliga titles was denied access to the VIP area at Bayern home games in which the Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness confirmed last Sunday.

The frustration of the club poor run in form really blew ill wind to the club's executives and I that both friends see reason to come back better and stronger in the coming days.
