Nasarawa United played host to
Ifeanyi Ubah on Matchday 14 fixtures. Nasarawa United came into this matter match with full confidence after whitewashing Delta Force FC 4-1 last weekend on matchday 13. So it was a back to back home fixtures for the Miners.
The fans didn't disappoint as they came out in good number to cheer their home team to victory.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah came into the match with the some positive spark so that they can return to the top of the log but the Lafia side didn't see any possibility of dropping a point in front of their home fans as they keep pushing up the group B table.
The match was more of a combat than a fair play as both teams struggle for superiority in such an important game, but the referee use his powers to keep the game under control by issuing out loads of warning cards.
The game ended with a 1- 0 slim victory for Nasarawa United as they look forward to an away fixture against Heartland United on Matchday 15.
