Nasarawa United continue their quest for a playoff finish with two more matches to remaining. The have one home fixture and one away fixture in which they are hoping to gather at least 4points as they await results from other venues.
Lafia Stadium was back to life as their darling club returns from an away game at nearby Plateau State with Plateau United which they fell 2-1. They was no better way to keep their hopes alive than to return to winning ways, which they truly did..
It was an early rush for the home side as they took two first half goals but in the second half it was Gombe United that took over the game to give Nasarawa United a run for their time and form..
Below are the photos I took from different sides of the stadium.
Conclusion
The match ended in a 2-1 win for Nasarawa United
It was my first raining matchday in Lafia Township Stadium and it was not a funny experience because of the cold and the strong wind and we have to stay for more than an hour after the match because the rain was still drizzling, but at the end of the day it was a nice experience as a went home wet.
Thanks for staying tuned
Thanks for supporting NPFL I will keep you posted with the full matchday analysis on Sunday as I'm my way to Nasarawa Eggon for a 3 days charity work.
