Hello Scorum World,

today marks the start of the new competition started by UEFA, the UEFA Nations League. It is supposed to be a substitute for the international friendlies. It is another move to generate more money from supporters and television rights, but for that, we have the pleasure some top encounters like the one happening this evening in League A, Group 1.

To be more precise, the encounter between Germany and France in Munich. It is the encounter between the World Champions from 2014 with the reigning ones, and I think it is a clash worth watching.

The pressure will be on Germany and especially on Jogie Löw. Who is Jogie? This is Jogie:

Jogie is the guy with the bad haircut known also as the manager of the German team. He needs to win this, to wash some of the shame from Germanies performance at the World Cup.

Here are the line-ups for this game:

I hoped that we would have seen some major changes in the starting German team, like a Kai Havertz instead of Ilkay Gündogan or Toni Kroos. Don't get me wrong, they are some of the best players in the world, but I want to see Kai Harvetz playing, to put them some pressure and to show them that everyone is replaceable.

At least Nico Schulz will make his debut on this game. I'm not a big fan of Thomas Müller, as he lacks the aggressiveness for that position. A Leroy Sané or a Julian Brandt would be a far better choice.

The France team shows almost a standard team. Almost because we will have the debut from Alphonse Areola who is replacing the injured Hugo Lloris. The right side of the France team is deadly. I miss only Payet in the starting team.

The odds are slighty for the German team with a 2.45. For France the odds are at 2.8 and for a draw we have the odds of 3.4.

The setup is offensive on both sides, so I expect at least 2 goals to be scored. What I would like to see is an open game where chances are not spared.

What do you think? Who is going to win?
