Match day 2 of the new Premier League season provided just as much thrills as the opening weekend. The game week saw 25 goals scored with at least a goal in each fixture. There were 4 draws; 3 being a goal apiece and perhaps the best game of the week ending in a 2-2 draw. Manchester City dazzled their home fans and neutrals alike with a breath-taking display against top 6 rivals Spurs with a total of 30 shots, 10 of them being on target. And Pep’s side would definitely feel they deserved more, especially after having a late winner ruled out by VAR for a handball against Laporte in the build-up to Jesus’ finish in added time.

There were victories for Arsenal, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Everton, Sheffield and most impressively Norwich.

Here are the score lines from Game Week 2 with my predictions in parenthesis.
