English football saw a much earlier deadline day after leadership of clubs voted to close the transfer window before the first match of the new season kicked off. Clubs wanted this change for many reasons but the most obvious being, to have the stars in the right frame of mind and not wondering when they might lose star players to premier league rivals. The transfer window in other countries is still opened so it makes you wonder if their decision was the right one as foreign clubs can still purchase their player. This would be most worrying for Chelsea, whom Real Madrid reportedly have interest in Eden Hazard
