Arsenal are not known for trading in the lower English ranks, but nonetheless, Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal management should have spotted an exciting young player in League One. The Mirror learns that Arsenal are interested in Wigan's only 19-year-old striker named Kyle Joseph.

Joseph made his breakthrough last season, impressing so much at the youth level that he was included in Wigan's first team squad up to this season. This season, it has turned into five goals for Joseph in 14 games. Joseph, who grew up in London, has represented Scotland at U-19 level six times, where this has turned into a single goal.

It's not just "The Gunners" who are after Joseph, as both Celtic and Glasgow Rangers have thrown their interest on the Wigan striker. One of the reasons for the great interest in the striker is that Joseph is without a contract this summer, as his contract with Wigan expires at the end of the season.
