Tonight it is not just a showdown between rivals Inter and AC Milan, but also a match between two world-class strikers, who right now are probably the two biggest player in their club. Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are expected to star in tonight's Coppa Italia clash in Milan.
In February 2020, Lukaku scored the final goal in Inter's 4-2 victory over rivals. The Belgian was quickly out after the match with the tweet that there was a new king in town. Eight months later, Milan then won the derby, and then Zlatan was out with an answer to Lukaku when he wrote that Milan had never had a king, they have a god. Both players have shown excellent form so far this season, with both of them listed for 12 goals.
The difference is that Zlatan has used just nine games for his goals, while Lukaku has spent twice as many games on his goals, according to statistics from Football-Italia. Tonight's showdown can so appropriately determine whether there is a king or a god in the city of Milan.
