The American club Inter Miami is seriously in the process of developing. The owner of the club is former Manchester United and Real Madrid player David Beckham. However, the British touch in the club does not stop there. Beckham has his former Manchester United teammate Phil Neville as coach at the club.

Now it seems that Inter Miami is looking for a very experienced man for the back chain. According to the Daily Mail, the club is in dialogue with 33-year-old Stoke stopper Ryan Shawcross.

Like Beckham and Neville, Shawcross has also been to Manchester United. However, he switched to Stoke at the age of 21. For a long time, Shawcross was a regular man and captain of the team, but due to injuries and an uncertain future, he has only played seven games on Stokes' first team since the 2019/2020 season. This season alone, there have only been two appearances in the Championship.

In January, David Beckham allegedly tried to bring former Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs to the club, but without success. However, it looks like Beckham and Neville are looking a lot towards the British Isles when it comes to bringing in new players.
