AC Milan are fighting for the Italian championship this year, and Hakan Calhanoglu has played a big role in the club currently being in second place in Serie A with four points up to rivals from Inter. The offensive profile has a contract expiration this summer, but AC Milan do not want to lose the player, and therefore the club has pushed for work to get a contract negotiated in place.

The Turkish national team player has only missed three matches in the league this season and that was because he was hit by coronavirus. From his primary place in the offensive midfield, the 27-year-old has contributed with a single goal and as many as nine assists, making him a shared top scorer on the assist list along with Henrikh Mkhitaryan from AS Roma.
