Chelsea could pull a little from Everton in the battle for the top four places in the Premier League on Monday night, if the London club at home could beat Everton.

Although Chelsea dominated the game in the first half, the home team needed help from Everton's Ben Godfrey to take the lead.

In the second half, Chelsea continued, pressing on in front of the Everton goal. The only further scoring in the match, however, came from the penalty spot, where Italian Jorginho, as so many times before, showed great accuracy. Therefore, the home team could rejoice over a 2-0 victory.

With the victory, Chelsea holds on to fourth place in the Premier League. Everton missed with a defeat the opportunity to move past both Chelsea and West Ham, which is why the Liverpool club will be in sixth place in the table.
