It is reported from the Italian media CalcioMercato that Leeds United and manager Marcelo Bielsa are ready to bid for Fiorentina's midfielder Erick Pulgar.

Pulgar was having a perfect performance last season with seven goals and eight assists in 41 games, though he is primarily a defensive midfielder. This season, however, he is smoked out of the starting line-up, which may make Fiorentina open for a switch.

Leeds need an extra man in the middle who can assist the weak Mateusz Klich or replace the great talent Kalvin Phillips if he is injured.
