There may be good news for Jurgen Klopp, who has long been interested in RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano. According to the media Express Sport, Upamecano should be ready to leave "Die Rotten Bullen" when his release clause is made active next summer.

£88 million interested clubs will have to pay if Upamecano is to leave RB Leipzig ahead of time. Previously, his buyout clause had been £100 million, but in connection with his contract extension until 2023, it was reduced.

Klopp and Liverpool are seriously lacking reinforcements for the back line, where they have many injuries. No one knows what condition Virgil van Dijk is in after his injury, and therefore the club must have quality into the back line.
