Neither Klopp nor Pep will be hired as coach at Juventus if Andrea Pirlo is fired after the current season. The Serie A club cannot afford that.
Instead, the Torino club will, according to La Repubblica, look at cheaper Italian alternatives to the coaching staff. Names like Atalanta's Gian Gasperini, Lazio's Inzaghi and former Roma and Inter coach Spalletti appears to be front runners.
On Sunday, it is reported that Andrea Pirlo is protected as Juventus coach for the rest of the season. Today, however, La Repubblica announces that if the club's current position and form deteriorate, then Pirlo's assistant Igor Tudor could take over the club until the summer.
