Seems the Italian big club Lazio has ended up in big problems. The club risks being excluded by the Italian Serie A, that according to am italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The possible exclusion comes as a consequence of the club allegedly having lied about the Italian star Ciro Immobile's test result on the corona.

Lazio has been hit hard by the coronavirus, which is why the club traveled to Belgium last week with only 15 first-team players in the squad prior to their meeting with Club Brugge.

This has subsequently created a great deal of confusion as to whether the Ciro Immobile should have tested negative or not. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian Football Federation, FIGC, is therefore currently investigating the club for violating internal rules.

However, it is not only Immobile that is in great doubt. Lucas Leiva and Thomas Strakosha are also very confused. All three were reportedly tested positive and therefore sent in self-isolation, as stated in the protocols that one must.

At the weekend, however, the club chose to send all three players out of bed and then travel with the team to Torino to meet Torino FC in Serie A. According to the club, however, all players were tested negative when they participated in the showdown.

However, it has subsequently created great debate and not least confusion in Italy. For were the three players tested negative at all when they traveled with the team to Turin? According to Lazio's own statement, all three players were negative as they have been tested by various bans.

The ultimate consequence, however, according to the Italian newspaper, could be that the club in the worst case could risk being forcibly relegated from Serie A if they are found guilty in the case.
