According To The Daily Record (Portugal) Midfielder Ander Herrera As Reached An Agreement To Join Psg In The Summer Of 2019 After His Contract Has Expired With Manchester United.
Ander Herrera was an important factor for Manchester United under Solskjaer. The Norwegian coach himself earnestly wants this player to continue to stick with him in the Old Trafford team. However, the problem is that Ander Herrera's contract with MU will expire at the end of this season. Meanwhile, the process of negotiating new contracts between the two sides is still in a dead end and the reason is that both do not reach an agreement on salary.
Specifically, according to the Daily Mail, Ander Herrera wants to significantly increase his salary from £80,000 a week to £200,000 a week, but Manchester United does not agree with that because the Spanish midfielder had recently turned 29 this year. Therefore, he wants to have the final "out-of-the-box" contract in his career.
In this context, PSG has made an official bid for Spanish player. They want to find a possible replacement in the context of having to part with Adrien Rabiot at the end of this season. According to the Daily Record, the French club has convinced Ander Herrera to join the club. It is unclear as to how much salary PSG will pay Ander Herrera during his time at the club, but atleast this deal can help the midfielder to be more "happier" since he's clamouring for a maximum playing time. Ander Herrera is also interested in joining PSG because of the new challenge.
Not only Ander Herrera, Manchester United are also facing the fear of losing Juan Mata for the same reason. The Spaniard also ended his contract with the Reds at the end of this season and is being contacted by Barcelona. Not stopping there, the Reds have not been able to sign a new contract with goalkeeper De Gea, even though the player's contract will expire in the summer of next year. As can be seen, the club is really in a difficult position to retain most of their high profiled players.
