Spanish Marca announce that Real Madrid and Sergio Ramos are close to agreeing on a solution that keeps the club's captain in the Spanish capital.

Previously, Ramos was offered two different solutions, which were otherwise rejected. However, the positive dialogue between the defender and club president Florentino Perez is reportedly the reason why Ramos is once again looking at the two offers.

One option is a one-year extension of the current salary. The second option is a two-year extension with a 10% salary reduction.

If Ramos does not accept one of the two solutions that the club has presented, the Spaniard can leave the Madrid club for free this summer after 16 years and close to 700 first-team matches.
