No finals football will be played in either Dublin or Bilbao this summer. This is confirmed by Uefa after a meeting on Friday. The reason the hosts are being taken from the two cities is because they cannot live up to the fans guarantees that Uefa has demanded.

The matches that were supposed to have been played in Dublin are now being divided between London and St. Petersburg, which are already two of the host cities. The matches planned in Bilbao will instead be played in Sevilla, which will be a brand new host city.

Uefa requires host cities to guarantee that they will close at least 25% of normal capacity in stadiums. Something that the Danish Minister of Culture, Joy Mogensen (S), has determined will happen in the Park.

Thus, the 11 host cities should be finally in place this summer. Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Bucharest, Glasgow, Baku, St. Petersburg, Rome, Budapest, Seville, Munich and London are now home to this summer's postponed European Championship finals.
