Just freshly inducted as PSG Sporting Director, "Léo" is already working his ass off on important transfert deals and actively involved in many internal projects.

Strike Hard. Strike Fast

He doesn't hide it: he wants to get a major player to get the machine up and running as quickly as possible. His network being mainly based in Italy. His two allies are Fali Ramadani and Mino Raiola, the two men are working hand to hand with Leonardo on the summer transfert window.

While Matthijs de Ligt was close to joining Barcelona in early May, Leonardo's return might redistribute cards in favour of PSG. It's been reported that Mino Raiola absolutely wants his player to join PSG. It seems that the Ajax captain was convinced to sign for them. Also, the club is currently in talks with Gianluigi Donnarumma whose agent is Raiola.

Fali Ramadini remains busy and is already discussing Coutinho's case with Leonardo and Serguej Milinkovic-Savic's case with Kezman - the player's agent.

There are still plans to strengthen their defensive and midfield with the offensive positions not being considered a priority for this summer.

A different method....

Leonardo intends to lead the club's communication as well as the sports management.

Internal communication was considered disastrous these past few years - Thomas Tuchel and former manager Unai Emery complaining too often that they were regularly affected by the club's lack of communication. Therefore, Leonardo wishes to change this: to establish a constant presence and dialogue at the Factory (PSG's head office) which will become the main workplace of the Sporting Director.

PSG finally decided to step up its efforts by making big chances that I believe, will be crucial to achieving the sports objectives. These changes will necessarily be made through the club's new strong man: Leonardo Nascimento de Araújo.
