Manchester united legend,Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he told Manchester united to sign Ben Godfrey,before the young defender joined Manchester united.

Ben Godfrey joined Everton on transfer deadline day,signing for Everton from championship side,Norwich City.

Since his move to Goodison park,the 23-year old has been an important player in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad,racking up Alot of appearances in the process.

Ben Godfrey seems to have captured the heart of Carlo Ancelotti at Everton since his move,due to his impressive performances for Everton in recent weeks,making them sit three points off a European spot in the premier league table.

And Rio Ferdinand has blasted Manchester united for not making the move to sign Ben Godfrey,despite him telling them to sign the young defender.

Saying on his youtube channel,Rio Ferdinand said that Everyone had the chance to sign him before his move to Everton.
