Norwich City's last game was against Tottenham Hotspur who has since then been hit by the Covid-19 outbreak. However, Dean Smith does not think there is a correlation between this Norwich predicament with the game played between each other.

He admitted that the club is nervous about some first-team players before the game at Carrow Road against Manchester United citing the fact that some players have knocked and some have Covid-19 related issues.

Norwich tests result comes at the end of the week in which another premier league club Tottenham has had to postpone their matches in both the Europa Conference League and the Premier League against Stade Rennes and Brighton and Hove Albion respectively following 13 cases of Covid-19 among staff and players alike.

Norwich City and Tottenham are not the only clubs going through the same issues, with Leicester also one of the clubs to have lost many first-team players to Covid-19.

With the surging cases of the Omicron variant coronavirus cases in England, all 20 Premier League clubs are being asked to return to the measures organized at the beginning of the season.
