England Football Association will investigate a missile attack on Manchester united player during the game against Leeds united at Elland road.

Anthony Elanga was struck by an object while celebrating a goal scored by teammate Fred in the win over Leeds united. Derbies between Manchester United and Leeds united are always fierce but the match on Sunday was something else with offensive chants between both teams supporters but according to police reports there was no substantial level of disorder but there were missile thrown at players. Elanga who scored his side fourth goal to seal the game at 4-2 needed treatment immediately after he was struck by the missile. Man United manager Ralf Rangnick and Leeds Boss Marcelo Bielsa has condemned the dreadful act perpetrated on Anthony Elanga and has called on measures to be put in place to ensure that it does not occur again.

The attack on Anthony Elanga was just one of many that has been occurring in England's top five leagues as there is an increase in fans related disorder in football games.
