Real Madrid is keeping close tabs on England and Liverpool defender Joe Gomez. The 24 years old who has missed the whole of last season to a knee injury has also been hampered by calf and groin problems.

Real Madrid who is believed to be looking for a center-back despite their widely known pursuit of PSG's star forward Kylian Mbappe has Joe Gomez on their list of Centre back options with Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger also on the list.

Although Real Madrid knows of the fact that since the arrival of Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig, game time has been hard for Joe Gomez which makes them believe that there is a chance that he might leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

Gomez still has three and a half years in his contract but with the Reds Manager Jurgen Klopp latest decision to go for the center-back pairing of Joel Matip and Ibrahima Konate for the game against Tottenham on Sunday in which Gomez came in as a substitute, then he might think about his future at the club and his options elsewhere.

Although Real Madrid understands that there is no chance of signing him at the January transfer window.
