The current headlines are surprisingly/unsurprisingly filled with the huge and fun adventure of an 18 year old Brazilian who travelled far away from home in search of greener pastures.

Rodrygo Da Silva is current Real Madrid’s young prodigy who just as yesterday, in his first European home debut, scored a hat-trick and made an assist. How many can beat that?

Several times we have talked about Cristiano Ronaldo and how very difficult it has been for Real Madrid to replace Cristiano Ronaldo and that has very much had to do with lacking of goals but the truth is, the Portuguese Superstar brings more than just goals to the team.

Anyways, we won’t talk about Cristiano Ronaldo every day, are we? Nah, because there is a new boss in town, or at least that’s how I am picturing the situation.

Rodrygo Silva is a Real Madrid winger who came into the club past summer and was drafted to the B team but is currently making waves in the first team just as his compatriot Vinicius Junior did under Solari last season.

It takes just an opportunity for these Brazilian boys to force themselves into the first team isn’t? but Vinicius is currently not considered a first team player by current coach Zinedine Zidane, would that happen to Rodrygo tomorrow? Most likely but I seriously doubt it.

The difference between Rodrygo and Vinicius is clear and the former beats the latter to the prize if the vital aspect is considered as a footballer. Vinicius is more of a solo player while Rodrygo is a team player who not only cooperates well but executes the plan to utmost perfection. With Rodrygo, you are very likely to smile at the end but with Vini, you are very likely to smile now and frown at the end.

My sincere hope as a fan of Real Madrid is that Rodrygo never fades or loses confidence but rather multiply in confidence and score more goals like the days of Cristiano.
