There could barely be a better moment for England to strike back with the same force used against them four months ago at Moscow than at the same stage. England beat last World Cup finalists Croatia in the semi finals to secure a Uefa Nation's League Final spot.

ENGLAND'S UNFORTUNATE WORLD CUP SEMI FINAL EXIT..

England were sent parking by the Croatian team in the semifinals to secure a World Cup final with France. The match was decided in the second half of extra time..

Mandukuzic put Croatia ahead just few minutes into second half extra time after Ivan Perisic has drawn them level to cancel out England's Walker first half opening.

England were unfortunate as they were clearly the better team in terms of chances created but were left to rue the poor finishing from their captain and Striker, Harry Kane and several other players.

ENGLAND'S COINCIDENTAL REVENGE..

The tides were turned this time around as England beat Croatia in the same semi final of the Uefa Nation's League with the same scoreline..

At Moscow, England drew the first blood and ended up losing the battle, this time around, honours were exchanged as Croatia drew the first blood but ended up exiting the competition...

England set out with a 4-3-3 formation as opposed to the 3-5-2 they used against Croatia in the World Cup. Although, Croatia came into this match without most of their more experienced players, their tough and high spirited players were enough to hold England for most part of the match..

HARRY KANE ENDS BARRENNESS IN FRONT OF GOAL FOR ENGLAND..

At first it looked set for England Striker Harry Kane to endure another poor outing in front of goal as he continued to fluff his chances and play at the keeper or a defender. Although his predator instincts was not to be underrated as he kept proving to be too much to handle for the Croatia's defenders.

Kane hasn't found the net for his country for the past seven games and it looked set to ne extended to eight before he set up Jesse Lingard's equaliser and was on hand to poke in for the second and last goal that completed the comeback and secured them the win..

≠=======================================================================
England would definitely enjoy this win and the return to the goal scoring charts of their striker. They were solid for most part of the match and looked a more improves side than the one that played in the World Cup.

England's coach, Southgate is to be applauded for making the right choices with his tactics and substitutions. The equaliser that set the tone for the win was scored by Jesse Lingard, his introduction alongside Delle Alli sparked more life into the England team and demoralized the Croatian team which without doubt was lacking ideas from the bench after losing Mateo Kovacic and Ivan Rakitic to injury.

It was clear England had a revenge in mind while coming into this match and they finally got what they wanted..
