The play, the spirit, the finishing, Manchester United are seeking to bring back smiles to the faces of fans under the management of former player Ole Solskjaer and they are doing just that.

Just last weekend, the most successful team in England, Manchester United surprised everyone with a 5-1 thumping of Cardiff at Wales. Never have they scored up to that figure since Alex Ferguson's departure. Many coaches has come and gone, each bringing his philosophy and United kept going down the pecking order.

Renowned tactician and one of the most successful coaches in club football, Jose Mourinho was hired and tasked with bringing Manchester United back to limelight. In his first season, he looked to reform the team and his costly experience from the bench managed to keep them at 2nd position come end of his first stint. The next stint saw him begin to sink his pragmatic and defensive/counter attacking approach to matches further in his players, a favoured dirty steps to winning matches over playing nice football and some couldn't adapt and there were series of problems. Mourinho's second season saw him end at the Europa league spot, a position undeserving of a team like Manchester United.

It was apparent the problem will linger and only get worsens provided typical Mourinho is still at the helm of affairs, it was only a matter of time and the ticking time bomb will explode.

Half way through the third season and matters escalated, they were reports of unrest and complications between coach and players and the dressing room looked in discomfort and it affected their performance on the pitch. Next we heard, Mourinho is shown the door and former player, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer took over as interim manager.

He offered freedom to players that Mourinho ditched for his selfish reasons and they repaid the faith he had in them by thrashing Cardiff.

Next on the cards was a visit by Huddersfield at Old Trafford. Solksjaer sent out his packs once again and gave them the freedom they need and they came back to him with another reason to smile. The runs, the passing, the combination, the understanding, the finishing. Everything seemed to be working according to plans in the attacking third for the United team.

The stone the builder rejected turned out to be the corner stone.

Close to Mourinho's sacking, Paul Pogba, one of United's most experienced player and recent world cup winner was either left on the bench or brought on from the bench due to reported fallouts with him(Mourinho). Pogba was tagged a virus by Mourinho and for that, his services are not needed as desired. Same Pogba scored two beautiful goals for United in their last match against Huddersfield. He linked the midfield and attack very well as always and was very crucial in their attacking movements. What he brings to the team on the pitch in the attacking third is almost unrivalled.

Solksjaer reinstalled him into the starting eleven and he is getting the results he deserves.

Manchester United hasn't played without faults, their poor defending of set pieces are still occurring but just like an actor once said, "BEST DEFENCE IS A GOOD ATTACK". If Manchester United can continue this fine run in front of goal, it will definitely make up for the defensive problems.
