For a second, put your self in the shoes of the man in the above picture and understand his situation. How would you feel coming into a team at the back of watching their best ever player leave them prior to your arrival. The player that left is no ordinary player, he is one that on a very off day, can carry the team on his back single-handedly and cross the River Jordan, Yes, he is that good. A player that possesses unimaginable skills, if we should be truthful with ourselves, that player is simply irreplaceable.

This unfortunate man is Julen Lopetegui, the current manager of the best club team in the history of football, Real Madrid. That rare gem of a player is Cristiano Ronaldo .

Coaching a team like Real Madrid does come with its enormous difficulties, to some coaches, at a stage in their tenure, they find these challenges insurmountable. But, coaching a team like Real Madrid also comes with its merits, they possess arguably the best players in each position on the pitch, having such players at your disposal naturally means no trophy you stretch out your hands for should elude you. But recently, it is not just the trophies that are eluding Real Madrid, their image, their pride, everything is currently eluding them and every finger is pointing at the manager, every eyes is seeking for the manager and some section of the fans are calling for his sack.

SHOULD JULEN BE SACKED?

The league loss last weekend was the 4th consecutive league match Real Madrid has failed to win, and their third straight loss, their worst start to a season in decades. But does the fault truly lie with the coach?

Real Madrid still has the potentials of blowing away teams with ease in their squad, but the players individually are hell-bent on striving to replace Ronaldo than playing collectively as a team. They waste chances after chances as opposed to when Cristiano Ronaldo was around, his presence calls the team to play collectively for him and boy did they did.

Julen just has to call the team to order, good football analysts knows you dare not decide the outcome of a match after 5-10 minutes into it. It is Julen's first season at Real Madrid, with Cristiano Ronaldo out, changes has to be made, changes is what he is trying to implement and just like relocating your family and belonging to another place entirely, it takes time and time is all Julen needs.

HARD WORK, PATIENCE AND HOPE are key to survival ..

Julen needs these three to retain his job at Real Madrid and solidify his place as one of the best managers ever. I wish him well..
