If there is one thing that Capital of Spain Club Real Madrid has battled with for over two decades, it is the problem of consistently unleashing its wrath on every opponent they face especially in a league competition.

The whites are record winners of the Spanish league with a mouthwatering 33 triumphs. They made that record when they understood the need for consistency in performance but for the past over twenty seasons, they seem to have lost that vibe.

Real Madrid are apparently prioritizing the La Liga trophy this season but they seem to be hoping on slip ups from title contenders than consistently wrapping up wins. Take for example Liverpool FC in the English Premier League. The reds have patiently waited for another EPL title for over 30 years and their wait is about to be ended as they have toiled hard to win every match since the season began except two. They were times it looked like they would be ending their unbeaten streak but at the end, they would scrap out a win even if it is an ugly one. They have only lost once and drawn once in 29 games, meaning they have won 27 games this season and it is no surprise they are 27 points above second place with just nine games to spare.

Liverpool is a perfect epitome of a team that seeks something badly and takes the necessary steps to get it. Real Madrid on the other hand prioritize La Liga but give room for complacency. This has affected them all season as they have dropped points where unexpected and also gained them when unexpected. Inconsistency has been their major problem and it clearly still is as just last week they won rivals Barcelona to top the table and this week, they dropped points against a lowly rated team to hand top place back to Barcelona. Very unprofessional considering their status as a club.
