Top sports network, ESPN has gone as far as calculating a possible relegation to the second division of England football league for Manchester United but is that a step too far or one of possibility?

I for one do not believe in any way that a team of Manchester United’s calibre would be relegated, at least until after the next century. I am not disputing the fact that anything is possible but possibilities are meant to be considered before facts.

Manchester United is currently the second most valuable team after Real Madrid and is below the Spanish giants with just a little difference in cash. These days, we all know money can buy virtually everything and that includes success. A proper scout, manager, player can be recruited at any willing opportunity, screw the cost and analysis, a team of that nature can do anything within the realm of the impossible to avoid relegation.

Manchester United is currently in a wrong state as they were some two seasons ago but they will get over it, that I am certain of. If there is one thing I am faulting Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for, it is the inability to manage a team plagued with injuries and they topped that with sales of some of their important players without adequate replacement.

Ole’s inexperience in the managerial field is currently laid bare and it is just a matter of time until he gets the axe, but that will be only if Manchester United do not quickly turn things around.
