It is no longer news that the best players to ever grace a soccer pitch will most likely ply their talents at the Santiago Bernabeu, home to the most successful football club in history, Real Madrid, before they retire.

The Spanish giants are recognized as the most successful club because of several reasons, with one of them being their seductiveness to talented players.

The Bernabeu pitch has been blessed with the feet of Gento, Santiago, Alfredo De Stefano, Hierro, Figo, Ronaldo De Lima, Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, to name but just a few; but recently, there appears to be two names predicted to be joining that list sooner or later in the future; Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

If there is one person that is renowned for his dragging big name players to Real Madrid, it is Florentino Perez, who is currently the President of the Spanish giants. Perez is recorded to have bought most of the players I listed above and tagged them "The Galacticos". He is on hand to make one of those galacticos signings soon and it is centered on Mbappe and Erling Haaland; two of the most hottest attackers in Europe at the moment. There is however problems that might stall Perez's move to land one or both players.

Mbappe Dilemma

It is clear as crystal and even exposed by the player himself that he has always been a fan of Real Madrid and dreamt of playing for them someday. As a matter of fact, the reason he hasn't up until now is majorly because there was Cristiano Ronaldo, another best player who is playing at the top level and Mbappe was just 19, with the future still very much ahead of him.

Cristiano would leave and it was time to acquire Mbappe but there lies another major blockage, an oil money blockage.

The owners of PSG appear to be so rich that they care very little about whatever amount Perez is willing to smash on the player and splash at their faces like he has always done. PSG are adamant of letting Mbappe leave, even though the player has publicly expressed his desire to leave.

Right now, Real Madrid appear to have found Cristiano's replacement and this is making the Mbappe chase all the more difficult.

Mbappe's contract is scheduled to end by summer next year (end of season), and the player is yet to sign a new contract. Whether he will sign a new contract with PSG now that Real Madrid appear to be living fine without him or leave for his dream club as a free man come end of season appears to be confirmed.

Haaland's Dilemma

The possibility of Mbappe signing for Real Madrid is even higher than Haaland, according to statistics and facts known to us. The Norwegian is a very talented striker, no doubt, but he is going to be needing more than his talent to substitute current Real Madrid top scorer Karim Benzema and he is not a player for the bench. Telling him to wait more at current club Borrusia Dortmund is also risky business as Manchester City are in the market for a striker come summer and willing to spend much, even more than Real Madrid.

Conclusion

Real Madrid's president Florentino Perez seems to be hit by the harsh reality of life that nothing is permanent and his days of splashing cash for any player he wants appears to be over. Recently, the club is more focused on building talents and finding it difficult splashing cash around for top players. Mbappe and Haaland might be speculated to one day play for the whites but be prepared for the greatest surprise that none might at the end.
