Real Madrid travel to Istanbul to face an in-form Galatasaray in a must win Uefa Champions League match. The essence of this match is not to be underrated as the capital of Spain club desperately needs a win in other to increase their chances of progressing past the group stage.

Eden Hazard and Toni Kroos are set to return to the starting line up after missing the terrible and disappointing defeat to Mallorca on Sunday which ended their unbeaten run in the league. With Modric still absent, it is uncertain which players fill the midfield spot in Zidane’s formation.

It is predicted that Toni Kroos and Casemiro are set to start with either of James Rodriguez or Isco Alarcon completing the midfield trio that is if Zidane is to go by his normal 4-3-3 preferred formation.

James has been more influential on the bench than Isco has been all season. Injuries and sickness has played a part in preventing the Spanish Magician from hitting top form. James on the other hand has strived hard to win the heart of the Madrid fans and virtually everyone will call for his inclusion over Isco.

However, Zidane is the man to finally decide who plays and who don’t and I am looking at a midfield without any of the duo with Valverde, Toni Kroos and Casemiro filling the midfield spots but then again, I am anticipating a rest for Casemiro. The Brazilian has played more minutes than any other Real Madrid player this season both for club and country and is expected to be given a rest but Zidane knows how important Classic Case and the match is, therefore, he won’t be joking with his line up. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and await tomorrow’s line up.
