The president of the Croatian Football Union Davor Suker praised the 2018 World Cup organizers.

"In terms of organization, the tournament was just great. All aspects, including living, traveling and, of course, safety, were perfectly implemented," he said. 

"I want to congratulate and thank President Vladimir Putin, Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko, Head of the Russian Premier League Sergei Pryadkin and the whole Russian people."

"The Croatian delegation felt at home here, because we have a similar mentality, a similar cuisine and the same vodka as in Russia, " Suker added jokingly.
