Many football (soccer for Yanks) lovers think that football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo should be framed. His lawyers stated he actually was framed in Football Leaks affair! And the Spanish court wanted to keep him in the iron frame for the next two years, but at the end they get their satisfaction with €18.8 million and suspended frame…
What did he do? Well, the court case was about some tax fraud while he was kicking football in Madrid. Imagine, someone from Spanish Government has been reading — a miracle on its own — and found at Football Leaks documents about the defrauding committed by the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, worth of some £12.9 million. At that time he denied all allegations when he appeared in Spanish court last summer. But on Tuesday, as part of the deal, Ronaldo is reported to have pleaded guilty to the offences and agreed to pay back the alleged evaded fee, plus additional fines and interest, in total of €18.8 million.
