The 2018 World Cup is over. We already know financial rewards for individual teams. Poland is among the worst teams.
In total, FIFA distributed $ 400 million - that is 42 million more than in 2014. Each of the teams that advanced to the World Cup got $ 1.5 million to prepare for the World Cup. The teams that dropped out in the group stage got $ 8 million (the same as in 2014). This group included: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Morocco, Peru, Australia , Nigeria, Iceland , Serbia, Costa Rica, South Korea, Germany , Tunisia, Panama, Senegal, Poland.
Eight teams - Portugal, Argentina, Mexico, Japan, Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, Colombia - were eliminated in the 1/8 finals. They received 12 million (previously 9 million). In the quarterfinals with the World Cup another four teams left - Uruguay, Brazil, Russia and Sweden. Their federations will receive 16 million (previously 14 million).
England received 22 million (previously 18), Belgium 24 million (20), Croatia 28 million (25), while the French world champions will receive 38 million dollars (35).
