Newcastle United vs Manchester United ML @1.622

Manchester United Win

In recent times, I have rarely placed bets on the ever unpredictable Man United. However since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager, the Old Trafford side are riding the crest of a wave. I am going to ride this train until the wheels fall off. Ole Gunnar has made the perfect start to life at the United dugout. The Red Devils have won three games on the bounce. United are absolutely on fire and finally playing an attractive attacking brand of football with their offensive minded players like Pogba having the license to roam forward and help in attack. Add to it that Newcastle are the second worst team at home in the topflight this season. After a 4-0 Boxing Day thrashing at the Liverpool, Rafa Benitez could take a pragmatic approach on this. However, Man United should be dominant here and bag another vital three points in their late Champions League qualification chase. Backing Man United to win. Looking for better odds? Man United Win and Over 2.5 Goals comes at odds 2.25

Bournemouth vs Watford, Over 2.5 Goals @1.716

Backing this game to produce over 2.5 Goals

Two teams that will have pleased most neutrals with their way of play this season. Both teams have struggled for consistency in recent games which have seen them drop in the standings. Hosts Bournemouth have netted eight goals in their last 10 home games in all competitions. The Cherries have also conceded in eight in those game. Eddie Howe's side have lost 5 of their last 6 games.

Watford have scored is six goals of their last 10 away games in all competitions while letting in seven goals. In their last 6 games, Watford have scored 10 goals. Bournemouth averages 1.85 goals scored at home while conceding an average of 1.71 goals. Watford averages 1.36 goals scored on the road and concedes an average of 1.36 goals. Both sides have managed a clean sheet each from their last 6 games. Four of the last five games between these two sides have produced at least three goals and I am backing this one to be no different.

Wolves ML vs Crystal Palace @2.081

Wolves to bag another three points here

Wolves are doing a solid job this season and their current eighth place position in the table is by merit. Last season's Championship winners have stunned Tottenham and Chelsea to win 4 of their last 6 games only drawing against Fulham and losing against league leaders Liverpool. Nuno Espirito Santo's side are playing an offensive based brand of football, the exact opposite of what Roy Hodgson's Palace are playing. Crystal Palace did stun reigning champions Manchester City in a 2-3 win on Boxing Day but that game had a smash and grab written all over it. That win and a narrow 0-1 win against Leicester are the only two wins Palace have registered in their last six game. I am backing Wolves to win at home.

Chelsea vs Southampton (+2.5) ML @1.45

Going for a Handicap here

Chelsea recorded a narrow 1-0 away win against Crystal Palace thanks to a Ngolo Kante goals which proved to the the match winner. The Blues will be keen to restore the 5 point cushion between them and fifth placed Arsenal. Chelsea strikers Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata have struggled to impress this season with most of the attacking work left to the ever important Eden Hazard as the recent win against Watford showed. The traveling Southampton are keen to play themselves out of the relegation places and will be hoping for a positive result here having stunned Arsenal last month. Chelsea have made it a habit of sneaking in narrow wins and this match shouldn't be so different. The last time Chelsea by a difference of more than two goals was a 0-4 away win at Burnley in late Octiober. I am backing Southampton (+2.5 Goals Handicap) to win.
