I do not know you, but I like stories. In fact, football is like a story. Do you know when you go out for a beer with friends and remember the matches, goals, players or unforgettable moments lived at the stadium? That's how you create a story and you say it further. 😉

Football has the power to "write" stories. I'll tell you some of the strangest happenings in the stadiums around the world. Even in Romania, my country!

  1. Arsenal - Dynamo Moscow

In 1945, Arsenal London and Dynamo Moscow played a friendly match on a fog as rarely seen. The fog was so dense that players made their own rules... Dynamo Moscow made a change, but no player left the field and no one noticed that. At one point there were 15 players on the field. 😂😂

An Arsenal player who had already been changed has also entered the field again!

The most unlucky player was the goalkeeper who hit the bar because he did not see anything but was changed by a supporter from the stand...

2. Chelsea - Arsenal

Chelsea really deserves its place in this top and especially its fans. The Londoners have a famous song about celery and they brought this vegetable for decades on Stamford Bridge.

After a match with Arsenal in 2007, the club's leadership has forbidden to the fans throwing celery on the field or they will be banned for life on Stamford Bridge.

3. Lincoln City - Coventry City

The England Cup match scheduled on January 5, 1963 was canceled due to bad weather not less than 15 times over the course of 66 days! Coventry finally won with 5 - 1.

4. Charlton Athletic - Huddersfield

If you do not believe in the saying, "It's never too late", now you're going to change your mind.

December 1957: Charlton played in 10 men from the 27th minute, after losing the captain who had displaced his shoulder and got to the hospital. At that time no changes could be made, and Charlton had a hard game, receiving 5 goals. 27 minutes before the end, Huddersfield lead with 5-1. What followed was in the field of SF films. Charlton had a spectacular comeback, and in the 81th minute the score was 6 - 5 for Huddersfield. In the last 5 minutes, Charlton scored two goals and won the match 7 - 6! 😱😱😱

5. Aston Villa - Leicester City

Any player would be proud if he scores 4 goals in a match. Not Aston Villa's defender, Chris Nicholl.

March 20, 1976 is a day he will never forget. The game finished 2-2, and Chris Nicholl managed to score two own-goals but also scored two goals for his team. Chris left with regret that he did not get the ball from that match: "The second own-goal was the most beautiful goal ever I gave. A great strike with the head. The 2-2 goal on the final of the game was a great release.''

Thanks for reading! Soon I will post part 2 with another 5 stories.
