Despite Lionel Messi's oft-repeated statements that he isn't going to leave Barcelona so far, the football community keeps talking about his possible departure. The Brazilian footballer Rivaldo is no exception.

The former striker gave an exclusive interview to Betfair and said that Messi is a 'one-club player', just like Francesco Totti from A.S. Roma. Rivaldo can hardly imagine Leo playing against Barça in the Champions League. According to him, if the legendary footballer ever leaves the Catalans, he will likely play outside Europe, in China or the US.

Rumors that Messi might leave Barcelona at the end of this season arose last week, amid the player's conflict with the sports director Eric Abidal. It was suggested that Leo could go back under the wing of his favorite coach Pep Guardiola, who is in charge of Manchester City. On the other hand, Guardiola says Messi should stay at Barça.

Another popular rumor is that Leo may transfer to Juventus, the Italian club Cristiano Ronaldo plays for. It would certainly be interesting to see the duo of the two old rivals. However, Rivaldo is sure this will never happen.
