The Algerian winger will undergo a medical on Monday or Tuesday before joining Premier League champions. Leicester City have accepted the £60million offer from Manchester City despite rejecting previous offers during winter transfer window. Pep Guardiola has already attempted to snatch the Algerian which caused a drama at Leicester in January. Mahrez was so eager to join the Manchester club that missed his training sessions and had no intention to return to his club. Leicester City wanted to get around £100million at the time. Now they are not willing keep the wantaway player any more, preferring to get as much money as possible for him now. It remains to be seen how Mahrez is going to fit into Guardiola squad full of talent in all positions.
