Day 6 of the Jupiler Pro League started with a match between the leader of the charts, Club Brugge versus Zulte Waregem. The game couldn't have started better for Club, after a merely 3 minutes they took the lead thanks to an owngoal by Waregem midfielder Florian Tardieu. Club continued to dominate the game. Halfway trough the first half, Zulte Waregem's Bedia took Club's Mitrovich down inside of the box resulting in a penalty. Kaveh Razei took the penalty, securing his first goal for Club. After a messy pass by Groeneveld, Bedia took control and took a shot Brugge's goal hitting the crossbar. 

37 minutes into the game, Emmanuel Dennis heads the ball in perfectly thanks to a corner by Hans Vanaken. The first half ends with 0-3 score in favour of Club Brugge.  

The second half started, Club Brugge played strong securing the victory with the 0-4. Danjuma curled the ball into the goal with a hard, distanced ball. A minute after the wonderful goal from Danjuma, Zulte Waregem went in for a counter attack. Bad luck for Waregem, the ball hit the crossbar for a second time.

Club Brugge was hungry for more, Razei shot the ball hard toward the goal. Waregem's keeper Kevin Bossut was alive and awake, and managed to push the ball away.

Despite the 0-4 score, Zulte Waregem wasn't out of the match yet. They put up a fight, with results! After a stutter in Bruge's defences, Zulte Waregem's attacker Thomas Buffel took control and hopped the ball over Letica in Brugge's goal. Only two minutes later Sylla took a shot, and scored the second goal for Zulte Waregem. Only to be disapproved after a couple of minutes by the VAR due to an offside. Waregem kept pressuring Bruge's defences with succes. Theo Bongonda managed to score a distanced shot, surprising Sylla.

We entered overtime, 3 extra minutes have been given. Club Brugge went in for a last time, pressuring Waregem's defences. Bongonda finished Waregem off scoring the 2-5 in Brugge's favour.

Zulte Waregem put up a fight and managed to make a comeback in the second half. But the national champion was too strong and dominated the game.
